We find it great as a bakery ingredient and for your body - a source of low Cal/low carb, soluble fiber.  So, it's keto-friendly; great for digestion and keeping you “regular”; and great for cholesterol, as it binds to the bad cholesterol and assists with excreting it from your body.  Psyllium husk is 85% soluble fibre, easy to digest, and helpful with any conditions in the stomach/digestive tract, diabetes, and high blood pressure or high cholesterol.  Also, it assists with delaying feelings of hunger and the need to eat between meals.
