We find it great as a bakery ingredient and for your body - a source of low Cal/low carb, soluble fibre.  So, it's keto-friendly; great for digestion and keeping you “regular”; and great for cholesterol, as it binds to the bad cholesterol and assists with excreting it from your body.  Psyllium husk is 85% soluble fibre, easy to digest, and helpful with any conditions in the stomach or digestive tract, diabetes, and high blood pressure or high cholesterol.  Also, it assists with delaying feelings of hunger and the need to eat between meals.
